Leitz PMM-F 700


High Speed, High Precision Coordinate Measuring Machine for the Shop Floor.


The Leitz PMM-F 700 is designed for fast inspection within a harsh production environment. It does not require an air conditioned housing. The unique Leitz PMM-F technology maintains the accuracy specifications within a large temperature range of 15°C - 30°C. Most important for Coordinate Measuring Machines to be used under shop floor conditions!

Due to its high throughput the shop-hardened PMM-F Measuring Machine can facilitate the quality and process control in production lines, for example for engine blocks or gear boxes.
The Leitz probe head provides High Speed Scanning for a variety of inspection tasks.

Leitz PMM-F Design features:

  • Overhead Gantry structure, made of moisture-resistant granite
  • High resolution ZERODUR scales in all axis
  • X-axis is fitted with dual drive and dual length measuring systems for absolute synchronised operation
  • Power transmission by re-circulating ball screw drives
  • No air condition required
