Measurement and evaluation of cylindrical gears according to Caterpillar standards.
This QUINDOS package was developed in cooperation with Caterpillar Inc., USA. It provides the measurement and evaluation procedures as required by the Caterpillar gear standards CAT 1E0392 and CAT 1E4157.
The evaluations include Caterpillar specific features like tip modification, undercut, root fillet and harmonic amplitude H1. The protocol (plot) layout is to Caterpillar specifications as well.
Note: Sale of this software needs the approval of Caterpillar Inc.
The option QUINDOS Gear is required to run CAT Gear.
