Measurement and evaluation of pairs of complementary cams.
Complementary Cams are 2 different cams with different curves running on one common axis.
For the inspection of a complementary cam a coordinate measuring machine with "continuous scanning " capability is recommended.

The package QUINDOS Complementary Cams provides the following features:
- Creation of complementary cams / complementary roller paths
- Calculation of the complementarity errors of a pair of cams, i.e.
- actual angle between the two pivoting cams
- rotating angle of the cam
- actual angle of the master cam
- radial direction of the rotation angle
- Optimization of a given parameter in a complementary cam system in order to minimize the complementarity error.
