Coordinate measuring machines for the measuring room

Ever more complex components and tighter tolerances are changing the demands on metrology. Choosing the right measuring machine is becoming more and more important. To be sure when deciding whether a good part or a reject has been produced requires a coordinate measuring machine with as low an error of measurement as possible.

The Leitz coordinate measuring machines from Hexagon Metrology are therefore always used in quality assurance whenever demanding measurement requirements and the highest precision are involved. In addition to these criteria, short measuring times and therefore high part throughput are decisive for efficient production. Batches of parts can be inspected effectively using pallet systems.

Leitz PMM-C

The Leitz PMM-C is a fixed bridge/moving table-type coordinate measuring machine. It combines ultra-high accuracy with outstanding speed, thus ensuring a very high throughput. This coordinate measuring machine is fast, affordable and allows to perform all measuring tasks, even the most complex ones. The Leitz PMM-C is also offered as a gear inspection center. It can accommodate maximum outside diameters up to 1550 mm.

Leitz Reference HP

The Leitz Reference HP (High Precision)is a bridge-type CMM and gear inspection center with movable portal - the ideal machine in its class for complex measuring tasks, combining high accuracy with optimum throughput. Available in various sizes, it ensures a fast, precise and cost-effective inspection of workpieces. Equipped with the LSP probe system, the Leitz Reference can accomplish inspection tasks in single-point probing and High-Speed-Scanning mode.

Leitz Reference Xi

The excellent Leitz scanning performance continues in the new Leitz Reference Xi series. These new series impress with their great choice of different probe head systems: from the LSP-X1 in combination with the continuous wrist TESASTAR-m through the fixed measurement head LSP-X3c right up to the LSP-X5, which remains unflappable, even when used with extreme stylus extensions or heavy styli clusters.

Leitz PMM-F 30.20.10/16

Leitz PMM-F 30.20.10 and 30.20.16 measuring machines - where accuracy meets throughput. The PMM-F is designed to inspect medium sized components and gears not only with maximum accuracy, but with a high throughput as well. The spindle drive design combined with an overhead structure with minimized mass allows measuring velocities previously unthinkable for measuring machines of this size.

Leitz PMM-G

The Leitz PMM-G provides highest accuracy and a highly enhanced throughput for large-size XXL workpieces. These workpieces are used for example in aircraft and aerospace industries or in ship engine constructions. Also the measurement of large gears used in wind turbines is possible. Despite such large measuring strokes, the Leitz PMM-G reaches a precision and performance level, which is usually common with much smaller 3D measuring machines.
